who we are?

In 1995, the Foundation was incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) entity, and awarded its first two scholarships the following year. This year, at the end of our 16th year, the Foundation has grown to the point where it is awarding 12 scholarships in ten different categories for a total of 105 scholarships worth over $63,000.

The Foundation accepts funds for both unrestricted and designated scholarships. Funds are placed in secure investments and only the earnings are used to fund the scholarships. Donors may be involved in establishing criteria for designated scholarships and the Foundation will assist in the selection process.

  • April 9-13, 2012 - Interviews for qualified applicants
  • April 24, 2012 - Scholarship winners will be notified
  • May 12, 2012 - Recognition dinner for scholarship winners
  • June 5, 2012 - Senior Awards Night (Certificate presentation)

Annual Fundraising and Awards Dinner at Knott's

Please join us on Saturday, May 12th at 6:30 PM, for our annual Fundraising and Awards Dinner. Meet this year's scholarship winners, enjoy our guest speaker who will be announced in the near future, and bid on some of our wonderful silent auction items. Tickets are $40 each or $275 for a table of 8 and reservations are recommended. This is a wonderful fun filled evening where we celebrate our current and past winners while enjoying the ambience of the evening.
