Help dreams come alive

The Foundation accepts funds for both unrestricted and designated scholarships. Funds are placed in investments and the earnings are used to fund the scholarships. Donors may be involved in establishing criteria for designated scholarships and the Foundation will assist in the selection process.

Helping Dreams Come Alive

Over the years, the Foundation has added several designated scholarships. Today, in addition to three general scholarships, the Foundation awards:

A senior who has excelled in all aspects of their high school experience including academics, school activities, work experience and volunteerism - three $1,000 scholarships  >>MORE>>


A senior who has made a significant contribution as a volunteer to the community - one $1,500 scholarship  >>MORE>>


A senior pursuing a career in the Fine Arts - one $500 scholarship  >>MORE>>


A senior who has helped others and is entering a community college - one $250 scholarship  >>MORE>>


A female senior who has played JV or Varsity Soccer - one $500 scholarship  >>MORE>>


A student pursuing a career in health care - one $500 scholarship  >>MORE>>


A senior who has excelled in all aspects of their high school experience including academics, school activities, work experience and volunteerism - one $500 scholarship  >>MORE>>


A senior who has excelled in science and math - one $1,000 scholarship  >>MORE>>


A senior who volunteers within the community with a nonprofit, healthcare (hospital, elder care center, convalescent or nursing center) or a civic organization - one $250 scholarship  >>MORE>>


A senior who plans to attend a community college and has a proven philosophy of reaching out and helping others. This philosophy could be in the area of helping someone else during a difficult time, helping other students through tutoring (non-paid), helping a neighbor or an acquaintance (old or young) solve a problem, etc. - one $250 scholarship  >>MORE>>


Scholarships will be awarded based upon your GPA, Personal Statement, recommendations, outside involvement such as volunteerism and employment (past or current employment is not required), and school activities. See the appropriate scholarship for specific information. For all scholarships, the content and quality of the Personal Statement is very important.
